Pray in Times of Trouble
"When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer
came in unto thee, into thine holy temple" (Jonah 2:7).
"Is any among you afflicted? let him pray" (James 5:13).
"He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their
prayer" (Psalm 102:17).
"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in
prayer" (Romans 12:12).
"Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and
in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God
of my life" (Psalm 42:8).
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And
the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).
"In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he
heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even
into his ears" (Psalm 18:6). |
